To Whom Else Have We To Go?

I am so amazed and enthralled when I think about the fact that through the Father’s mercy He has “begotten us again” to Himself through sending Jesus to die for us. We were born into sin and into death, meaning we were actually IN condemnation and separated from GOD, but then He came to rescue us Himself to give us a chance to receive Him and be pulled out of hell. He so did not have to do that. And I did absolutely nothing to deserve it. I was off doing my own thing, feeding the flesh everything it wanted, not having any reverence for GOD. But then He came and died. And He opened my eyes so that I can see.

All day long things of this world are trying to pull my heart away from Him. The enemy is constantly wanting to prove that my love for Jesus is not sincere and genuine. He strives all day long to get me to curse GOD at the end of the day. My faith is being challenged in a way it never has been before (not even close). And this is so good, because I need to be able to stand no matter what comes my way…and this will be more precious than gold..
